Macworld ’08 making news, redesigns of Pro lines? iPhone 2.0? New iMac influences?

Macworld ’08 registrations are in full swing, getting the rumor mill churned up again for what could be next out of Cupertino. Already, there are numerous “reports” including a Mac Pro update at Macslice. Others are yearning for a Macbook Pro redesign (with a reintroduction of a 12-inch model?), such as wordpress blogger Krissanda. With recent comments made by Jobs himself at the UK iPhone release, iPhone 2.0 seems imminent as well. The initial Macbook Pro redesigns… design, follows suit with the newly introduced iMacs. Speculations include; glass and black screens (with matte underlay), integrated iPhone/touch pinching gestures on trackpad for OS X 10.5 Leopard, flash drives, and WiMax.

  1. Nice to see old photoshops being reposted a month after it was debunked. Look closely and you will see that the hard drive icon says “Powerbook HD.” Obvious fake that others posted in August.

  3. fake fake fake. Although I would like to see an update to the mbp, someone has a bad eye for detail. The first thing that caught my eye is the power cord on the first picture. Its not even Magsafe!
I find it funny they crop the next pic that cuts off the power cord.
